Find the Outlook emails you have not answered with your AI agent

Your agent reads your Outlook mail from the last seven days, checks which messages have no reply from you, and lists who is waiting and since when. It only reads, so it is safe to run every morning.

QuestionAnswer
What does it do?Your agent reads your Outlook mail from the last seven days, checks which messages have no reply from you, and lists who is waiting and since when.
Who is it for?People who live in Outlook and lose track of the emails that need an answer.
What do I connect?Outlook, once, with its own sign-in. ClawLink never sees your password.
What does it cost?About 2 tool calls on your plan. Starter includes 1,000 a month.
Does it work?outlook_query_emails succeeded on 98.3% of 1,610 calls on ClawLink in the last 30 days.
Which agents?OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude, Codex, ChatGPT and any MCP client connected to ClawLink.

How do you try it?

  1. Set up ClawLink once. Add it to your agent from the install page, then connect Outlook.
  2. Send this prompt to your agent. Click the card to copy it.

It works the same in OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude and Codex.

How does the agent do it?

The agent makes 2 calls through ClawLink. You do not pick the tools: the agent finds them by searching ClawLink, reads their input schema and runs them.

How often does this work on ClawLink?

We do not publish a sample run for this job: its output is somebody's own Outlook. Instead, here is how the same tools performed for every ClawLink user from 2026-09-03 to 2026-10-03. A call counts as failed only when it reached Outlook and came back with an error.

outlook_list_messages5,0842699.7%2.1 s

How do you write the prompt?

  • Ignore newsletters. "Only people, not newsletters or notifications" removes most of the noise.
  • Sort by waiting time. "Oldest first" puts the most overdue reply on top.
  • Ask for a draft. The agent can draft the first reply too; Outlook has a draft tool.

What can go wrong?

  • Search is limited on personal accounts. Microsoft's search API works on work and school accounts only. On Outlook.com accounts ClawLink logged 64 such errors; the agent should use the list and query tools instead, which work on both.
  • Small default pages. The list tool returns 10 messages by default. For a week of mail, the agent has to ask for more or page through.
  • Bodies are not included. By default only headers come back. That is enough for this job and keeps it fast.
