Signing into Gmail in the Grok Bot browser works for a while, but that session is shared with every Bot on your account. Prefer a connector-style Connect flow so the Google token is not sitting in that shared browser.

Do Grok Bots share one computer?

Yes. Every Bot on your account uses one persistent cloud computer. They share files, browser sessions, and logins. The computer is per user account, not per Bot.

xAI does not use separate Bots as a security boundary. Browser cookies and signed-in sessions are shared. Signing in for one Bot makes the session available to your other Bots. Screens are separate work surfaces, not separate security boundaries.

Is a browser login to Gmail safe on that computer?

A Gmail session in that browser is available to every Bot you run. That may be fine for one-person accounts. It is not isolation between Bots. Prefer a connector when one is available.

The token stays off the agent machine. With ClawLink Connect, the provider OAuth token is not left as a browser login on the Grok Bot computer. You can disconnect from the ClawLink dashboard and revoke with Google.

ClawLink has an honest limit. If an agent on that computer is already connected and can call ClawLink tools, ClawLink does not stop another Bot on the same account from using that connection.

  2. Prefer that flow over signing into Gmail in Agent Computer.
  3. If you need to disconnect later, use the ClawLink dashboard to remove the Gmail connection.

Is signing into Gmail in the browser ever OK?

Does ClawLink isolate Bots from each other?
