See the ads a competitor is running on Meta with your AI agent

Your agent looks the company up in the Meta Ad Library, pulls the ads it is running now on Facebook and Instagram, and groups them by call to action and format. You see a competitor's ad strategy in one answer, without a Facebook login.

QuestionAnswer
What does it do?Your agent looks the company up in the Meta Ad Library, pulls the ads it is running now on Facebook and Instagram, and groups them by call to action and format.
Who is it for?Performance marketers and founders who study competitors' ads before writing their own.
What do I connect?Nothing. It reads public data with ClawLink's own provider.
What does it cost?About $0.00564 of ClawLink credit per run. New accounts get $0.50 free.
Does it work?Yes. We ran it on 2026-10-03; the results are below.
Which agents?OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude, Codex, ChatGPT and any MCP client connected to ClawLink.

How do you try it?

  1. Set up ClawLink once. Add it to your agent from the install page. This job needs no connected app.
  2. Send this prompt to your agent. Click the card to copy it.

It works the same in OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude and Codex.

How does the agent do it?

The agent makes 2 calls through ClawLink. You do not pick the tools: the agent finds them by searching ClawLink, reads their input schema and runs them.

What happened when we ran it?

We sent this job through ClawLink on 2026-10-03. These are the real calls and what came back, not an example.

facebookdata_ad_library_search_companies"Notion", 15 pages returned0.8 s$0.00282
facebookdata_ad_library_company_ads@notionhq, 15 of 113 ads shown3.8 s$0.00282

What the data showed:

  • All 15 ads were active on both Facebook and Instagram.
  • Calls to action: 11 Sign up and 4 Get offer.
  • Formats: 7 dynamic creative, 4 image and 4 video.
  • 14 of the 15 used the same copy, "Solve Work with Notion", pushing custom AI agents; one offered 3 free months of Notion Business.
  • Start dates ran from May 21 to Aug 22, 2026: the copy has not changed for months.

How do you write the prompt?

  • Use the company name. The agent looks up the page first, so "Notion" is enough.
  • Ask for the hooks. "Quote the first line of each ad" shows how they open.
  • Ask for dates. Ads that have run for months are the ones that work.

What can go wrong?

  • The verified page is not always the company. In our run, a search for Notion returned 15 pages. The one with a blue check was a magazine; the real Notion page (@notionhq) was not verified. Ask the agent to match the page by its website or Instagram handle and to tell you which page it used.
  • Template text. Dynamic creative ads can show template text instead of the final copy.
  • Media links expire. Image and video links from the Ad Library stop working after a few days. Save what you need.
  • One page is a sample. Notion had 113 matching ads; one call returned 15 of them. Ask for more pages for a full picture.
