Compare this week's Google Analytics traffic with last week with your AI agent

Your agent runs a Google Analytics 4 report on sessions by channel for this week and last week, and tells you which channel moved most and by how much. You get the answer without building a report.

QuestionAnswer
What does it do?Your agent runs a Google Analytics 4 report on sessions by channel for this week and last week, and tells you which channel moved most and by how much.
Who is it for?Founders and marketers who want the weekly traffic story in two sentences.
What do I connect?Google Analytics, once, with its own sign-in. ClawLink never sees your password.
What does it cost?About 2 tool calls on your plan. Starter includes 1,000 a month.
Does it work?google_analytics_list_account_summaries succeeded on 100.0% of 68 calls on ClawLink in the last 30 days.
Which agents?OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude, Codex, ChatGPT and any MCP client connected to ClawLink.

How do you try it?

  1. Set up ClawLink once. Add it to your agent from the install page, then connect Google Analytics.
  2. Send this prompt to your agent. Click the card to copy it.

It works the same in OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude and Codex.

How does the agent do it?

The agent makes 2 calls through ClawLink. You do not pick the tools: the agent finds them by searching ClawLink, reads their input schema and runs them.

How often does this work on ClawLink?

We do not publish a sample run for this job: its output is somebody's own Google Analytics. Instead, here is how the same tools performed for every ClawLink user from 2026-09-03 to 2026-10-03. A call counts as failed only when it reached Google Analytics and came back with an error.

google_analytics_run_report4091399.8%2.0 s

How do you write the prompt?

  • Name the property. If you have several sites, say which one.
  • Ask for the reason. "Which pages drove it" turns a number into an answer.
  • Use full weeks. Monday to Sunday compares like with like.

What can go wrong?

  • An empty report is not zero traffic. A valid report can come back with rowCount 0 when the dimension or date range has no data. An agent may then tell you that you have no traffic. Ask it to say which property and dates it used.
  • Property id, not measurement id. GA4 reports need the numeric property id, not the G- measurement id.
  • Today is partial. Leave today out of the range.
